Project

Attrition Analysis Deep-Dive

Placeholder project — a cohort-based attrition analysis connecting exit patterns to actionable retention decisions.

Problem

Demo placeholder. Leadership saw a single company-wide attrition number and could not tell whether it was a problem, where it was concentrated, or what would actually move it.

Approach

Demo placeholder. Reframed the question from "what is our attrition rate?" to "which segments are losing people we wanted to keep, and when in their tenure?" — then applied cohort and survival analysis by hire quarter, unit and tenure band.

What I built

Demo placeholder. A segmented attrition analysis with cohort survival curves, a regrettable-attrition definition agreed with HR leadership, and a recurring dashboard that tracked the specific segments flagged for action.

Outcome

Demo placeholder. Replace with the real project outcome once available — this record exists to demonstrate how work links into the knowledge base.

What I learned

Demo placeholder. The analytical method mattered less than agreeing on definitions: what counts as regrettable, and which segments matter to the business.
